Red Art Games is releasing a physical copy of Legend of the Skyfish in a limited run. The pre-order for the Nintendo Switch game will be opening up on May 7th.
A Legend of Zelda-esque game, Legend of the Skyfish follows a young protagonist through her quest to defeat the Skyfish and save her brother, solving puzzles and defeating foes with her trusty fishing pole on the way. Originally released for iOS and Apple TV back in 2016, Legend of the Skyfish can now be played on PS4 and Switch.
Now, fans of this puzzle game can score a physical copy for their Switch—but only if they’re quick enough. Only 2,800 copies of the game will be sold at $30 each during this limited release. Those who can’t get their hands on a physical copy can still play Legend of the Skyfish on Switch via download from the Nintendo shop. The physical copies will be shipped out later this year; the anticipated window is late summer to early fall.
This is a game for all ages and features some stunning handmade levels. Fans of lore-based games should get ready to add Legend of the Skyfish to their shelves before everything gets snatched up.
