Xbox continues to expand its Game Pass mobile streaming catalog, with six new games seeing the addition of touch controls. Titles in the update include Overcooked 2, Killer Queen Black, and Banjo-Kazooie.

If you don’t have a Bluetooth gamepad – or don’t want to lug it around with you – you’ll be glad to know that 60 titles in the Xbox Game Pass catalog now support touch controls on mobile. Microsoft has been steadily adding new games to the subscription service, but it’s great to see the company remembering its xCloud ambitions. At the time of writing, 60 games are playable on mobile with fully supported touch controls.

Here are the six games that have been updated to include Xbox Touch Controls:

  • Battle Chasers: Nightwar Double Dragon Neon Wreckfest Overcooked 2 Killer Queen Black Banjo Kazooie

Those six titles join an already impressive list of compatible titles, including Minecraft Dungeons, Streets of Rage 4, Dead Cells, and Slay the Spire.

Xbox Game Pass game streaming is still only available on Android devices, although it’s expected to arrive on iOS this spring.

Microsoft continues to add titles to Game Pass at an impressive clip, with Outriders being the latest blockbuster on the service. The title quickly surpassed the player count of Marvel’s Avengers, and even managed to become a top-selling game on Xbox Live – despite being free to millions of Game Pass subscribers.

Xbox Game Pass also offers some of the best mobile games on the market. Instead of wading through the Google Play store, you have instant access to dozens of blockbusters, many of which now support touch controls. If you’re paying for Game Pass Ultimate, it’s worth a minute of your time to see how things work on mobile. Being able to play Gears 5 on the go is a surprisingly great experience.

With spring well underway, let’s hope we hear more about Game Pass on iOS in the coming weeks.
