Death Come True is a new upcoming game by the same creator behind Danganronpa, and its teaser trailers show it looks suitably weird (in a really cool way).
If this is the first you’re hearing about Death Come True, here are the things you ought to know.
The game is a new full-motion video game (that looks like it blurs the line between video game and movie, big time) written and directed by Kazutaka Kodaka - creator of the Danganronpa series - and in development by Tokyo’s IzanagiGames Inc.
The cast features Kanata Hongo as the game’s main character Makoto Karaki, Chihiro Yamamoto as the “psychopath girl” Nene Kurushima, and Kill Bill: Volume 1 actress Chiaki Kuriyama as Special Division police investigator Akane Sachimura, among others.
The music we’ve heard from the first, second, and third trailers also sounds real cool, and that’s probably because the dude behind the game’s music is Masafumi Takada, the composer for the Danganronpa series, as well as The Evil Within, Killer7, and others.
Death Come True is due for a 2020 release on PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
