The Xbox One X is no longer being manufactured by Microsoft, according to a new report, leaving just the Xbox One S in production.

As the Xbox Series X ramps up, Microsoft is shifting focus to the new console. This means that factories that used to produce Xbox Ones are now building Xbox Series Xs, which means websites are taking down the discontinued models.

GamesIndustry.biz reports that the Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital consoles are both discontinued and will no longer be produced. Any sales of either console will come from existing stock.

“As we ramp into the future with Xbox Series X, we’re taking the natural step of stopping production on Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition,” a Microsoft representative told the publication. “Xbox One S will continue to be manufactured and sold globally. Gamers can check with their local retailers for more details on Xbox One hardware availability.”

The news initially came from Australian gamer site Press Start, which noticed that Microsoft Australia had delisted the Xbox One X. Only the Xbox One S and Xbox Series X were available to order.

On the plus side, the Xbox Series X is supposed to be fully backwards compatible, and the Xbox One S is an affordable alternative that may even see an additional price drop now that the next-gen consoles are almost here.

Microsoft’s Xbox Series X arrives this holiday season. Stay tuned next week for a look at some of the new console’s games.
