Xbox has managed to keep a lot of its players happy with its extensive catalog of games that are available through its Game Pass service. While the Xbox Game Pass has added games recently it seems that a number of games will be leaving its roster in the near future. In fact, seven games have been listed as “Leaving Soon” and although they may not be the biggest titles, players may want to try them before they are no longer freely available for pass subscribers.

The games leaving the Games Pass range from the scary Resident Evil: Revelations to the fun co-op game, Riverbond. It is unclear why these titles are leaving this service and it may be that they are not drawing enough attention or it could be that the contract negotiations to retain them failed.

The other titles that are leaving the Xbox Game Pass are Riptide GP: Renegade, ScreamRide, Everspace, Supermarket Shriek, and Superhot. While these are not major titles, games like Superhot have been praised for their manipulation of time and immersive gameplay. For fans of unconventional racing Riptide GP: Renegade will be an interesting game as players race hydro jet based machines and jump over waterfalls and fight. Supermarket Shriek is another racing title that is leaving the pass and this encourages players to get around bustling shops and pick up items. It is clear that the games leaving the pass were unconventional and some may have wanted to have access to the gaming oddities for a little while longer.

Fortunately for Xbox players, Games Pass still has some fantastic games and the games that are leaving the service will still be available to purchase. With that in mind players still have time to try out these titles and decide if they are worth purchasing once they are removed. Many will now be intrigued by what titles will come to the service in the place of these games and if they can replicate the quality of the likes of Red Dead Redemption 2 which is available through the pass.

There are rumors that the Xbox Game Pass will be adding Kingdom of Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue to the service. If this is the case many who struggled to understand the narrative of the third entry in the series, which is also available in the Game Pass may enjoy the opportunity to become informed. Whether this game is delivered or not, the Games Pass seems to be providing plenty of games, even if it is losing several titles.
