They’ve only gone and done it again, another amazing set of miniatures is about to drop for the Pathfinder Battles game.
Paizo and Wizkids, have a long history of working together. The current line of miniatures that they produce feels equally at home and as part of the Pathfinder Battles game. Pathfinder Battles is a miniature based tabletop battle game that is independent of the Pathfinder RPG. Since it’s initial launch in 2011, Pathfinder Battles have brought together many of the creatures from the Pathfinder universe in a collectible miniature series. The minis come in randomized booster boxes and are pre-painted. Paizo also releases a larger creature in standalone packaging that accompanies the blind boosters, as well as a deluxe RPG pack featuring the accessories needed to create and play out one of the more popular scenes in an RPG encounter.
The latest series of Pathfinder Battles is titled City of Lost Omens takes you an adventure to Absalom, a city at the center of the world, also known as the City of Lost Omen. The set contains 44 miniatures for you to collect. You’ll find creatures and heroes based upon the concept art used for the second edition of the Pathfinder RPG that was released in August 2019. Notable miniatures included in this set are the Naiad Queen, Aroden, Chief Zusgut, and Norgorber.
There are two deluxe sets this time around that accompany the blind boosters. In a combined double pack, you can grab two dragons; an adult black and an adult red that tower over the rest of the miniatures casting an ominous shadow. The other deluxe offering is the Thieves Guild Premium Set that includes a Guildmaster figure and enough accessories to decorate the guild.
Pathfinder Battles City of Lost Omens is available now on both The Paizo and Wizkids web stores. Booster Boxes start at $15.99 and the double Dragons set is coming in at $59.99. Rounding out the new releases is the Thieves Guild Premium Set at $59.99. All miniatures are pre-painted and ready to play. You can also buy individual miniatures from Paizo to complete your collection at a slight premium.
