Looking at the Xbox side, the One X is 8.4 pounds over the base Xbox One’s 7 pounds. Pitting the PS5 up against the Xbox Series X still has Sony’s machine tipping the scales with the 10.54 machine edging out the Series X’s reported 9.81 pounds.
The weight of the system may not come as a huge shock to some considering just how large the console is. Again, Sony hasn’t officially commented on the dimensions of the new console just yet, but fans have worked out a rough idea based on port sizes how large the PS5 is likely to be. The best estimation puts it at about 15 inches tall, not including the stand. That would make it the tallest console, even over the PS3, and well above the Series X’s 11.85 inches.
