Updated July 16, 2022 by Ben Jessey: The multiple expansions for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla have added plenty of things to the game, such as new weapons and locations. They’ve also given you a few more romantic options in case none of the current romanceable characters are to your likely - or you want Eivor to play the field a little.

As such, this list became out of date as it no longer included every Assassin’s Creed Valhalla romance. So, we updated the piece to include a certain cheese-throwing Frankish rebel from the Siege of Paris DLC.

Pierre

Pierre appears at the beginning of The Siege of Paris DLC as a visitor to Ravensthorpe. He is part of Sigurd’s crew and is helping to bring down King Charles. The protagonist has several conversations with the man throughout the expansion.

How To Romance Them

The option to romance Pierre is available during the Skal mission, which is part of the main story. In it, he runs a cheese-throwing stall that you must visit. After playing the unconventional game, the two of you will share a little back-and-forth.

Eventually, you get the option of flirting with him by saying, “I can show you,” followed by “let us exchange skills.” That’s all you need to do to engage in a steamy encounter with the man. The romance is just a little casual fling.

Ciara

Ciara is an Irish poet Eivor meets during the Wraths of the Druids’ main story. She serves as an advisor to Flan Sinna and is an important part of the expansion. Eivor takes a liking to her early, and the two form a bond.

Ciara and Eivor both share some flirty interactions. Then at two separate times, you’ll be able to choose dialog options that push their relationship forward. Unfortunately, their fling isn’t one of AC Valhalla’s permanent romances.

Bil

The first character you will have a chance to interact with romantically is a woman named Bil. She is a widow who believes that her marriage was perfect and nobody can truly replace her former husband. Yet, she’s still interested in casual fun.

To be with her, you first must complete her request. She asks you to bring her the comb that is hidden in Rygjafylke in Norway down in the water. A good tip is to dive in and focus on the left side of the lake as her comb is tucked away in a tunnel.

Broder

You will meet Broder, and his brother Brothir, while completing the East Anglia storyline. The two siblings are Danes that aren’t particularly impressed with their soon-to-be Brother-in-law Oswald. While Broder and his brother seem like jerks at first, in the end, they prove to be decent people.

Oswald’s wedding will open up the possibility for Eivor to become romantically involved with Broder. In fact, he’ll be very forward and you just have to follow his lead. However, after the deed is done make sure to thank him by his name otherwise he will become infuriated and think Eivor believed him to be his brother the entire time, even though it does make for some great memes.

Stowe

Eivor first meets the honorable Stowe in Lunden while hunting for an alliance. The Saxton is the Reeve for Western Lundun, and the two of you hit it off right outside of the city’s walls. Then you help him investigate the death of Governor Tryggr.

You can flirt with him and propose a romantic encounter, but he will turn down the offer as the romance is a misnomer. When you progress through the story, you will learn that his heart actually belongs to Erke, as you will eventually catch them together near the end of completing Lunden’s alliance quests.

Petra

It takes a whole group of people to make Ravensthorpe a functioning society. One such person is Petra, who is a hunter for the Raven Clan. You can meet her after building the Hunter’s Hut.

Romantic feelings won’t blossom between the two until Eivor agrees to help her find Wallace when he goes missing. You can then choose the option to spend a bit more time with Petra, which pits you against one another in an archery contest.

Whether you win or lose, you will be given the option to enter into a more serious relationship with her, which is one of the best things about the game. You can choose to go on more dates with her, or even break up with her, although Eivor can still have other romances while dating Petra.

Gunlodr

Eivor can’t meet Gunlodr in their world, only when they’re seeing through the eyes of Havi. She is the daughter of King Suttunger and resides in Jotunheim. Havi meets her when trying to steal her father’s magical mead.

If you find Thor’s Bridal Circlet, you can give this to her, and then the romance option will be open for you to pursue. It ends with her passed out on the hay, and you can go on your merry way as Havi to continue exploring this unique world.

Tewdwr

Once you have access to the Glowecestrescire region, then you will be able to meet a man named Tewdwr. He is the Ealderman of the county and a friend of Gunnar’s - the blacksmith in Raventhorpe who upgrades armor. At first, Tewdwr and Eivor don’t get on well with one another, but a bond begins to form after some life-saving heroics from the Wolf-Kissed.

You will be able to drink with him during Samhain, which will start your relationship. It doesn’t progress until after you complete The Burning of the Wicker Man, as a letter will be sent to you requesting your romancing.

Stigr

Fltyers are aplenty in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and the one located in Snotinghamscire (within Hemthorpe) is named Stigr. This guy is different from most flyters in that he doesn’t exchange insults; instead, he flirts.

To unlock his romance, you need to beat him in his signature game. When it is over, you will have the chance to take things further, or you can deny the exchange and head on your way to your next adventure.

Tarben

Tarben is another member of the Raven Clan. He used to be a bandit before changing his ways. Now, he runs a bakery at Ravensthorpe, as long as you build one.

You also need to build a fishing hut as the romance begins when he asks you to go on a fishing trip. Along the way, he’ll confess his feelings for you. This is another AC Valhalla permanent romance, and it does mean you will have to leave Petra behind.

Vili

One of AC Valhalla’s male romantic options is Vili. Eivor has known the man for many years, and they reunite during the Snotinghamscire story arc. Vili is the son of the region’s Jarl and possible successor.

After meeting up, the two talk about how they could have been romantically involved long before now. And it’s up to you whether the pair make up for the lost time. Ultimately, however, they decide that a serious relationship isn’t for them. Yet, choosing Trygve to be the next Jarl will allow him to become one of your Jomsvikings.

Randvi

Randvi is an important member of the clan as she helps run Ravensthorpe. Her main duty seems to be finding potential allies to improve the group’s standing in England. Yet, all her time spent in the longhouse leads to some wanderlust.

Initiating a relationship with her isn’t possible until your Raventhorpe reaches level three, and it is the only AC Valhalla romance that will affect the story.

She will ask to go on an adventure, so you will journey with her to Grantebridge, where she will share a moment with Eivor as the day ends. However, this will strain your relationship with Sigurd, as it is his wife after all, but there is still a chance later in the game to create a romance if you still have some lingering questions.
