Which New Weapons Are Coming To Modern Warfare Season 4

Although Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Season 4 update is still a little ways off, the game’s files may indicate what’s to come.

According to Dexterto, some of the game’s data miners have discovered possible clues as to which weapons will be coming with Season 4. As happens with each season, new features are added, which prominently include weapons. The data mine might show exactly what weapons are coming.

In addition, Call of Duty leaker TheGamingRevolution has revealed corroborating information along with the information from the data mine.

As per Reddit user JeaneJWE, the APC9 submachine gun is a probable gun coming with Season 4. The only thing that makes this recent firearm less likely to appear is that it’s been within the game’s files since launch.

The next weapon likely to come with Season 4 is the Vector. First appearing in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and later in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, the Vector is a submachine gun that fires extraordinarily fast and was a favorite of many multiplayer veterans. Spotted as the file name “iw8_sm_victor,” it is highly suspected that the Vector will show up due to Infinity Ward’s naming convention within Call of Duty game files. For instance, the M4A1, according to JeaneJWE, was called the “mike4.”

The HK G28 is also likely to appear in Season 4. This semi-automatic rifle has yet to appear in a Call of Duty title. According to the game’s files, its accuracy is its biggest selling point.

The Galil is also a likely weapon for Season 4. The Galil has appeared in every Call of Duty: Black Ops title and is an automatic rifle that acts as a good alternative to the AK-47, according to the weapon’s stats. As a regular within the Black Ops games, this is sure to appeal to fans of the Black Ops subseries.

The final weapon that may appear with Season 4 is the XM109. This weapon has yet to appear in a Call of Duty game but is a high-powered sniper rifle by Barrett. Yet, JeaneJWE suggests that it is more akin to a long-range “launcher” with explosive capabilities.

Keep in mind that none of these are surefire, but given the information from the game files, Season 4 may be bringing some exciting weaponry.
