God of War has shifted its narrative from Greek mythology to Norse mythology in recent games. The characters are loosely based on Greek mythology and Norse mythology, but this is meant to be taken with one big grain of salt.

11 Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20): Thor
Son of Odin, Thor is the God of Thunder, Lightning, and Storms. His power is vast, as are the powers of many other gods in the series. We only get a glimpse of Thor in God of War (2018), so at this point, we can only make predictions about his personality and traits.
We can assume he is stubborn and uncompromising, like most people who knock on Kratos’s door unannounced. Most likely he is loving to his family too, much like a Taurus would be.
10 Gemini (May 21 – Jun 20): Athena
Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, has appeared in most of the God of War games. Her first appearance was in the series’ debut God of War (2005). She used to be an ally to Kratos but changed her ways in later games.
As someone who is wise, unselfish, and noble, she is a close match to the Gemini zodiac sign. Gemini individuals are quick learners who are good communicators. Fascinated by the world, they realize there isn’t enough time to see everything.
9 Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22): Gaia
Cancers dislike any criticism of mom, which makes sense since Gaia is the mother of the Titans and grandmother of Olympian Gods. Narrating the series, Gaia is probably someone who wouldn’t mind being near water.
The trees growing out of her body would agree if they could speak. Cancer individuals like to keep people close. If only Cancer’s element was Earth, it would be a perfect match. Nevertheless, Gaia is as sympathetic as a Cancer.
8 Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 22): Baldur
We could tell from the beginning of God of War (2018) that Baldur was arrogant to the bone. His exaggerated sense of his importance leads him to provoke Kratos. “Before you die, I want to thank you. Both of you. You’ve done what even the Allfather himself could not. I’ve never felt more alive! Ironic, isn’t it?”
Baldur is the main antagonist of God of War (2018). He ignores the cries of his mother, showing that he is as self-centered as a Leo.
7 Virgo (Aug 23 – Sept 22): Hercules
Loyal to his father (unlike Kratos), Hercules is called to Olympus to defend the highest mountain in Greece. Hercules would like nothing more than to rid Mount Olympus of Kratos, his half-brother.
If you were born between August 23rd and September 22nd, it’s all work and no play. You are Hercules!
6 Libra (Sept 23 – Oct 22): Hades
Although his appearance is quite different from the Greek mythology media we are used to viewing, Hades is the main antagonist in God of War III. Shockingly, Hades joined forces with Zeus to kill Kratos.
We never pictured Hades, the God of the Underworld, working together with the almighty Zeus. Based on the games, we can say that Hades is as cooperative as a Libra.
5 Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21): Kratos
Kratos is the protagonist and the titular character of the series. His rage seemingly has no bounds as he is as violent as a Scorpio. The weaknesses of a Scorpio include being distrusting, jealous, and secretive.
Kratos is rarely jealous unless it is about the gods. He does not trust the gods because of how they have deceived him time and time again. Beneath all that anger, however, Kratos is a true friend with heroic qualities.
4 Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21): Atreus
“You must say nothing to the boy. He must never know.” Atreus fits the description of a Sagittarius for a variety of reasons. Firstly, Atreus is willing to travel with his father, Kratos, to disperse his mother’s ashes at the highest peak of the nine realms.
Sagittarius individuals are the biggest travelers of all the zodiac signs. His enthusiasm is seemingly limitless, and his honesty towards his father proves again that he’s a Sagittarius. If you were born between November 22nd and December 21st, you are Atreus!
3 Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19): Cronos
Kratos has encountered Cronos multiple times in the God of War series. Kratos’s small size, in comparison to Cronos makes him an unlikely challenger. As lord of the Titans, Cronos has shifted from liking Kratos to being his number one enemy.
Capricorns dislike almost everything at a point in their life. As someone who wanted to rule the universe, it could be said he is power-hungry, just like a Capricorn.
2 Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 18): Freya
Also known as The Witch of the Woods, Freya is a protagonist in 2018’s God of War. As one of the most knowledgeable and wise characters in the game, she is someone who might need to be away from the world to collect her thoughts.
Aquarius individuals are deep thinkers and intellectuals. As a close friend to Kratos, she is an invaluable aid throughout God of War. If you were born between January 20th and February 18th, you are Freya!
1 Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20): Poseidon
Ruler of the oceans, your element is water, which is fitting with the God of War games. In Roman mythology, Poseidon is known as Neptune, which happens to be the planet of Pisces.
There are two different Poseidon’s we see in the God of War games. One being before he was touched by Pandora’s Box, and the other being after that. Poseidon has many love interests such as Medusa and Princess. As a Pisces, you enjoy swimming and are capable of forgiving. An example of Poseidon’s compassion is when he apologized to Princess for his misdirected anger.
