Genshin Impact is a dynamic RPG with party members that feel like real people, not NPCs giving automatic responses. One way these characters stay alive in the mind of the player is by having individual birthdays each month, where they have special letters and dishes they send to the traveler.

Since players can’t celebrate their birthdays, or their friends’ birthdays, while quarantine continues across the world, having a little celebration in Genshin Impact is a welcome relief. If you’re a Pisces or an Aries, born in March, you might be lucky enough to share a birthday with one of these Genshin Impact party members.

3 Qiqi - March 3rd

Qiqi is among the best healers that players should use in Genshin Impact, despite (or perhaps because of) the fact that she is an actual zombie. She has a revive ability, and uses huge blasts of healing energy with painfully long cooldown times.

Qiqi’s birthday is March 3rd, and players can expect to receive her special dish on this day — ironically called “No Tomorrow.” It’s an adorable dish with neat rows of food, but it’s noted that Qiqi has no sense of taste due to her zombification, so be prepared to smile and nod politely after tasting it.

2 Jean - March 14th

Jean is the “Acting” Grand Master for the Knights of Favonius, since the previous Grand Master left on an expedition with his squad just before the traveler arrived. Jean is one of the best characters for the player’s party, ranking in the A-tier category as a strong support and devastating DPS with the right combos.

Her birthday is in the middle of March, on the 14th, and the special dish the player can expect to receive from her is an Invigorating Pizza. Though pizza might seem like an odd gift from such a serious character, Jean’s pizza is unlike any other — the game calls it “more like art than food.”

1 Noelle - March 21st

Noelle has always wanted to be a knight, but she isn’t quite skilled enough to achieve her dreams yet. Instead, she works as a maid for the knights of Favonius, taking notes about their fighting and habits.

So, naturally, Noelle’s skill set is wonderfully diverse. In a pinch, Noelle can even operate as a DPS teammate for the player while they wait to find a more dedicated character. Her birthday falls on March 21st, the latest March birthday in the game. Her special dish, a Lighter-Than-Air Pancake, is a heavenly tower of flapjacks covered in chocolate sauce.
