The whole world has gone absolutely crazy over Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and given how much fun stuff players can accomplish in the game, it’s really no wonder. From building a five-star island to furnishing the perfect house or even hunting down rare fish and bugs, there’s a ton of things to do every day.

What’s even cooler is that each island spawns with a different native fruit, which means it’s less likely that two islands from two different players will look alike. That being said, everyone can get their hands on all of the fruits available. The question is: which ones to get? This fun little zodiac guide should help answer the question. So far, only the fruits seen in New Horizons are included.

12 Aries: Orange

Aries are known for their energetic personalities. They’re very eager and competitive and like for things to happen quickly, which might be a difficult personality type to have when playing a game like Animal Crossing.

Orange is the best type of fruit for Aries because of its energizing, zesty flavor. Plus, yellow and orange colors are often associated with mornings and energy, making it an even better match.

11 Taurus: Coconut

Coconuts are a tricky fruit since they’re not native to any of the original islands. However, traveling to another random tropical island will allow the player to harvest them and eventually plant some of their own.

Coconuts have a smooth but overpowering flavor, which is why Taurus is a great fit for them. It’s a fruit that won’t let a player down, and is heard to break through, just like a strong Taurus.

10 Gemini: Apple

Apples might seem like the most boring choice, but they’re actually the bread and butter of fruits. They fit almost any season but look the best in autumn when everything is nice and orange and red.

Geminis, known for their kind and curious personalities should definitely invest in getting a few apple trees planted on their islands, as the acidic red fruit complements their expressive personality.

9 Cancer: Peach

Aesthetically pleasing and quite tasty, peaches are often associated with summer. As fruits, they have a nice orange and pinkish color, which looks great on an island within the game. Overall, it’s a pretty lucky native fruit to get.

Cancers are best fit to grow peaches on their island due to their softer, emotional personality that could be compared to the softness and sweetness of a peach.

8 Leo: Coconut

Much like Taurus, Leo has a strong personality, but in a much different way. Leos are known to be assertive and they like leading the way for other people. Their natural charisma makes them stand out wherever they go.

As such, strong and unique fruits like coconuts, found in other islands, are a great choice to plant for any Leos playing Animal Crossing.

7 Virgo: Pear

Often overlooked and yet so delicious and aesthetically pleasing, pears have a unique taste and texture that’s much softer than an apple. Due to their green color, pears can be hard to spot on the trees, which might make some players turn away from this choice.

However, Virgos should definitely give pear tree farming a shot. Their gentle and loyal personalities are akin to the reliability of pears as delicious yet unassuming fruits.

6 Libra: Apple

Apples probably look the best in Animal Crossing due to their vivid red color, which contrasts against the green of the trees. Aesthetically pleasing, they make any island look just a little bit more interesting and balanced.

Speaking of balance, Libras will be most at home on an island with apples. Their outgoing and fair-minded personalities will find the balance between the green and red of apple trees a really cute look for the island.

5 Scorpio: Cherry

Cherries are interesting in the sense that they’re somewhere between berries and fruits, at least in size and taste. Out of all the fruits in Animal Crossing, they also look different, which makes them unique.

Scorpios like to stand out in this sense as well. Brave and resourceful, Scorpios are passionate about being themselves no matter what.

4 Sagittarius: Orange

Sagittarius, along with Aries, is another high-energy zodiac type. They’re known as the funniest individuals in the bunch and are often the life of the party wherever they go. Their presence is the burst of energy everyone craves.

In that sense, Sagittarius is just like an orange. To represent their zodiac type, any Sagittarius should try and start up an orange tree farm to brighten up their island.

3 Capricorn: Pear

Capricorns might be misunderstood quite a bit due to their serious exterior. Similarly, many would look at a pear and consider their taste to be far more acidic than it actually is. Serious and highly independent, however, Capricorns do as they please.

As such, Capricorns are most likely to have their island flooded with pear trees, which is a unique and somewhat unconventional choice.

2 Aquarius: Cherry

The highly imaginative and philosophical Aquarius is a rebel without a cause. They enjoy standing out and being the odd duck, which is why it seems perfectly obvious that they would pick and enjoy having their island filled with cherry trees.

Cherries are unique due to their shape and appearance, unlike the rest of the fruits in Animal Crossing, which tend to be round and orb-shaped.

1 Pisces: Peach

Emotional, sweet and sensitive, Pisces will support their friends no matter what. Their empathy is among the deepest of all the zodiac types, and they have a certain emotional wisdom about them that few individuals possess.

As such, peaches are the perfect fruit of choice for their islands. Sweet and gentle just like Pisces, they won’t let the player down.
