With the highly-anticipated release of Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord finally arriving on PC today, many are no doubt wondering when exactly they’ll finally get their hands on the expansive medieval RPG. As it turns out, it seems TaleWorlds - the developer behind Bannerlord - has got fans covered when it comes to clarifying the exact time they can jump into the newest entry in the Mount and Blade series.
According to the dev, the game was made available at 3 AM PT this morning, meaning eager fans will have access to the title right now. Some might be thinking that this comes a day early, however, the game’s release was pulled forward an additional day by TaleWorlds in a bid to bring entertainment to franchise veterans currently stuck at home with little to do.
For those who haven’t been following the extensive development cycle of the next entry in the Mount and Blade franchise, Bannerlord has been in development for eight years, with TaleWords spending a lot of time crafting it into the defining next entry in the series. Not only will the game expand upon many of the core concepts that made titles like Warband so deeply beloved, but it also adds a ton of new features and some much needed visual flair.
Alongside the release, TaleWords will also be giving a 10% discount off the beta, with an additional 10% for those who have previously owned a Mount and Blade title. No doubt its merely more incentive to buy into one of the most highly-anticipated PC releases of recent years.
