Ever since the first Detective Pikachu movie trailer dropped, the film has focused on the fact that its version of Pikachu could talk. I’m an enormous Pokemon fan and I’ve loved Temtem ever since it launched in January last year. The momentum has once again turned in the favor of Lionhead Studios now that Fable Legends has been unveiled. According to Mayor of Kingstown co-creator Hugh Dillon, the upcoming Paramount+ drama has been a long time coming. “It’s been 10 years in the making,” Dillon said during the show’s appearance at the 2021 Television Critics Association press tour. “(Co-creator Taylor Sheridan and I) were two broke actors in LA and he was my acting coach. 2023 isn’t even a month old, yet Xbox and Bethesda are already scheduled to reveal some of their plans for the upcoming year as part of a special live stream event. Recently, Microsoft announced a special Xbox showcase featuring upcoming Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass titles. That event will include games developed by companies in the Xbox family (most notably Bethesda). Admittedly, the timing is a little awkward given that Microsoft recently laid off over 10,000 employees (including many from Xbox studios such as 343 Studios), but at least this showcase will let us know how Microsoft will bolster Xbox’s lineup as the console wars start to heat up....

As some gaming fans might argue, Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference lacked a lot of the explosive announcements found during other companies’ showcases at the event, with the tech firm having focused primarily on the reveal of Xbox One X and a slew of third-party titles that are close to completion. However, as Microsoft’s head of Xbox games marketing, Aaron Greenberg, recently explained, there are a plethora of games in the works that the company chose to withhold from disclosure at E3 2017....

June has been packed with video game announcements and news with Sony’s PS5 reveal being the gem at its center. But as June comes to an end and July begins, all eyes are on Microsoft’s planned Xbox Series X first-party game showcase. The previously confirmed event will feature titles including gameplay from Halo Infinite and several major announcements. However, the July Xbox event still doesn’t have a date. The Xbox Games With Gold November 2016 lineup is now announced by Microsoft, delivering four drastically different titles to Xbox gamers at no extra cost. Microsoft has just announced the lineup of free Xbox games for November’s Games With Gold, and one can’t say that Microsoft isn’t covering a lot of genres with this month’s iteration. As per usual for the free Xbox game lineup, the four free games are split between two Xbox One titles and two Xbox 360 titles (which are backward compatible), and the new lineup will start filtering in to Xbox consoles everywhere starting November 1, 2016....

Xbox One players are getting a little Halloween treat this month in the form of a free horror game - Maid of Sker - but there’s a bit of catch. Only those who have an Xbox Live Gold subscription are eligible to receive the free gift. But then again, that may not actually be a very big catch for many of you. The Xbox Series X and Series S are both powerful next-gen consoles, but the Xbox Series X is simply designed for more. The Xbox Series X has triple the GPU power of the Series S and is also capable of rendering games in 4K at 60 frames per second.
