Fans of Zack Snyder are likely still getting themselves psyched up for the impending release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, a four-hour extravaganza that aims to rebuild the director’s original version of the film. Those who have been following him closely, however, are also likely aware that he has quite a few irons in the fire at the moment, including a new zombie-heist film titled Army of the Dead. The film has been in production for some time now and is planned to release on Netflix at some point in 2021....

Growing up in Kingston, Ontario, Mayor of Kingston co-creator Hugh Dillon was surrounded by incarceration. Fan-favorite map returns to Apex Legends for the first time in Season 5 and players can’t wait. World’s Edge is the 2nd Apex Legends map after King’s Canyon. It was added to the game during Season 3 last October and represents a very different setting from King’s Canyon’s more rural landscape. Set on the planet Talos, World’s Edge has some real environmental threats in the lava pools spread around the world....

Worms Rumble is the newest entry in the long-running Worms series, but it stands out a bit from the rest of the Worms titles that have come before it. Unlike the traditional team-based artillery tactical formula of its predecessors, Worms Rumble is a battle royale game with 32-player action happening on much larger maps. Additionally, players on PS4 and PS5 with PlayStation Plus will be able to grab the game for free during the month of December....

For the second time in less than a year, Xbox head Phil Spencer has hinted that cult classic title 1 vs. 100 could make a comeback in the future. When it comes to remasters and re-releases, there doesn’t appear to be any game that is off-limits right now. The trend started with obvious choices such as Crash Bandicoot and Spyro but now includes what many would have assumed to be less sought-after titles from the past such as Alex Kidd in Miracle World....

Microsoft announces January 2016’s free Games with Gold games for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, including Deus Ex: Human Revolution and the first season of Killer Instinct. Xbox Live Gold subscribers that are interested to see which free games will kick off the program in 2016 will be glad to know that Microsoft has spilled the beans a little early this month. In January, Gold subscribers will have two new free Xbox 360 games and two new free Xbox One games to download....

The initial release of the Xbox One was slightly more rocky than Microsoft would have hoped for. The console saw backlash from fans before it even hit store shelves, with criticism over a proposed always-on internet requirement and a strong stance against gamers playing used games. There are many inconveniences in the world of video games, everything from charging controllers to hour-long updates. One of those basic tasks is redeeming game codes, something most gamers have done at least once in their lives. About a couple of years ago, the Executive President of Gaming at Microsoft, Phil Spencer, stated during the course of E3 2016 that Project Scorpio (AKA Xbox One X) would support “high-end VR” like that which is available on Windows PCs. That never came to pass, and now it looks as though Microsoft’s Chief Marketing Officer for Gaming, Mike Nichols, is walking back the company’s previous statements on the matter by explaining that the tech firm will no longer work on VR support for the system....

Every month, Xbox Live Gold subscribers are treated to a couple of free games for the month. May 1 will see the new month’s games move in, but until then, April’s Games with Gold are currently available. Players can download Project Cars 2, Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle, and Toy Box Turbos, with the only game to grace April that can’t be downloaded now being Fable: Anniversary. Now, May’s games have been revealed....

Although gaming consoles are primarily used for playing video games, as Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo’s hardware has advanced, many have begun using them as multimedia devices. The PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X can play 4K blu-rays, for example, while pretty much all modern consoles have a vast library of streaming platforms available. It seems that trend won’t change for players picking up an Xbox Series X, with Microsoft revealing exactly which streaming services will be available on the console at launch....

CD Projekt Red fans will be able to get their hands on Cyberpunk 2077, at least for a moment, if they attend PAX West 2019. The extended gameplay demo for the upcoming title was made available behind closed doors during this year’s E3. But it will be made public during the aforementioned event, with confirmation coming from CD Projekt Red community leader Marcin Momot. Momot announced as much on Twitter earlier this month, following gaming industry insider Shinobi602 posting: “Cyberpunk 2077 extended gameplay demo won’t be made public until after Gamescom 2019 (August 20-24)....

Three young Bolivian siblings went out to tend to some goats when they wound up in the hospital instead. The three brothers ages 8, 10, and 12 were out grazing goats when they stumbled upon a black spider. The spider reminded them of their favorite comic book hero Spider-Man, and so the three kids decided to try an “experiment” with the spider. Each child took turns poking the spider with a stick until it bit each of them....

A YouTuber by the name of Kanghua Ren, also known as ReSet, is looking at the possibility of two years in prison after filming and posting a video of him giving a homeless man Oreos filled with toothpaste as a “prank.” According to The Independent’s report, Kanghua Ren is facing charges for a crime against moral integrity. In this report, Prosecutors are saying Ren might have to pay a 30,000 Euro fine as a further penalty with the jail time....
