Yooka-Laylee is a game that isn’t afraid to wear its inspirations proudly on its sleeve. The Kickstarter-funded title was always explicitly designed to be a spiritual successor to Playtonic Games’ most iconic series, and most of the players who were interested in picking Yooka-Laylee up found its similarities to Banjo-Kazooie endearing and appealing. While most players might have noticed the aesthetic likeness between the two titles, and many picked up on the way Yooka-Laylee’s gameplay is heavily inspired by Banjo-Kazooie’s most famous systems, there is at least one more - likely unintentional - homage....

Gotham Knights has been getting a positive response from fans after the first footage of the game was shown during DC FanDome, but many questions still linger about the upcoming title. Miles Morales appears to be doing an awful lot of work for the people of New York City in the upcoming PS5 game which begs the question, where’s Peter? Sony and Insomniac took PlayStation fans by surprise earlier this year when they revealed that a Spider-Man would be here before the end of 2020. That game will be a PS5 launch title and be called Spider-Man: Miles Morales. PlayStation console exclusive Bugsnax might be crawling its way to other platforms like the Xbox Series X|S or the Nintendo Switch at some point in the future. Microsoft’s Xbox One has struggled to gain market share against Sony’s PlayStation 4 since both consoles released in November of 2013. A few years ago, Ubisoft showed off quite the surprise announcement during its E3 2017 showcase.
