2K Games announces today that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of their turn-based strategy game, XCOM 2, is delayed for three weeks, and now will release on September 27th. XCOM 2 is already being called one of the best games of 2016 so far. But, despite the rave reviews, non-pc gamers have yet to see a console version of the tunrn-based strategy game. Two months ago, XCOM 2’s publisher, 2K Games announced that the game would be available for consoles on September 6th....

Nintendo’s E3 presentation was filled with notable announcements - Fortnite is available on Switch right now, Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming to the console, the upcoming Smash Bros. is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, among other things. However, one game was noticeably absent: Yoshi for Switch. The colorful game was unveiled at last year’s E3, with a release date of 2018. Now, this could be up in the air, as Nintendo’s official page listed the game as coming out in 2019....

A Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword port may be coming to Nintendo Switch. At a Japanese Zelda concert, Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma apparently teased this, although it is not confirmed. A Reddit user posted a compilation of Japanese and Chinese sources claiming this to be true. Aonuma may have said, “I know what you’re waiting for - Skyward Sword for Switch. Right?” Although not confirmed, a Skyward Sword port would not be totally unexpected....

After Zynga acquired Draw Something developer OMGPOP for $180 Million that put nearly any high profile mobile developer, or at least ones that regular crack the top spots on the App Store, on watch. According to Zynga’s CEO Mark Pincus, the publisher is looking for more “accomplished teams”, and plan to make another OMGPOP-size acquisition in the next 3-5 years. Among those high profile developers that appear to be catching Zynga’s eye include ZeptoLab, developers of Cut the Rope....
