The launch of the PlayStation 5 and Nvidia 3080 pre-orders were small-scale disasters for both companies, respectively. The people who have waited decades to return to Midgar might not have to wait for much longer, as Square Enix has announced that copies of Final Fantasy VII Remake will be shipped out earlier than expected in some regions. Final Fantasy VII Remake was first announced in 2015, but Square Enix didn’t reveal much footage of the game until 2019, when development on the game was nearing its conclusion. Square Enix initially gave a release date of March 2020, but it was pushed back to early April, as the company felt that the game needed some more polish....
