Yes, this is Dreykov’s daughter, a victim of an attack by Natasha Romanoff herself when Antonia was just a child which caused her severe facial scarring. Her father put a chip in her head, we are told, made her cover her face with a mask, and forced her to act as his weapon under the name Taskmaster....

The police procedural drama, Criminal Minds, which centers around a team of FBI profilers as they study the worst criminals the U.S. has to offer, dominated network television on CBS before it moved to the streaming service Paramount +, under its new name Criminal Minds: Evolution. Criminal Minds’ perfect mix of celebrity guest stars, (including Sheryl Lee Ralph, Amber Heard, Mark Hamill, and Luke Perry) and the show’s characters having strong chemistry kept fans hooked for 16 seasons....

When the PlayStation 5 launched, it did so with a library mostly consisting of cross-generational games that were also available on PS4. One exception to that rule was the Demon’s Souls remake from Bluepoint Games, a PS5 exclusive that vastly improves the graphics of the PS3 original and makes a host of other quality of life changes. It stands as the highest-rated PlayStation 5 exclusive game, and it will likely hold that title for some to come....

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has been a box office hit for Marvel, earning many millions beyond its predicted haul when it was officially released last week. Disney had previously drawn fire – and a very public lawsuit – back in July when it debuted Marvel’s last pandemic-delayed film, Black Widow, in theatres and on the Disney+ streaming service at the same time, but Shang-Chi has targeted a theatrical-only release that seems to have paid off....

Each year, MMO, RTS and fantasy fans alike flock to the Anaheim Convention Center to attend one of the biggest events in modern gaming: Blizzcon. Year in and year out, major announcements abound. With numerous new Blizzard games nearing release in the coming year and others hinted at in rumors, it’s no surprise that this year’s event has started off with a bang. I’ve never been swept away by a WoW expansion until I played Shadowlands. Like many, I tend to complete exactly as much of the campaign as is required and then immediately jump into dungeons to grind to level cap as fast as possible. I don’t skip cutscenes, but I tend just let the story wash over me, only picking up on what’s happening through environmental storytelling and osmosis. Everyone knows the game begins when the story ends, and so we all try to get there as fast as possible....

WWE 2K20’s huge roster boasted more than 200 superstars, but there were many current-day wrestlers and past legends that were strangely omitted (and some icons have appeared only once in WWE titles). Most of the NXT UK division, for example, was missing. On top of that, some of the biggest names of all, such as Sasha Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch, had a large number of duplicates. With WWE 2K21 cancelled, 2K20 has grown even more outdated as WWE’s roster continues to evolve and expand....

As it so happens, a flyer has leaked online through a Spanish site known as SomosXbox that has unveiled which titles will be included in August’s lineup for Xbox One and Xbox 360 players....

Microsoft held their Xbox press conference this morning in Cologne, Germany for Gamescom 2014 and came prepared with lots of big news for Xbox One gamers. In addition to a few exclusives - including Rise of the Tomb Raider and Space Engineers - and new trailers and Xbox One bundles, they also had some information on betas for some of the console’s hottest late 2014 and 2015 releases. Below is information on the upcoming Xbox One betas for Turtle Rock Studios’ recently delayed Evolve (which just held a closed alpha), and the exclusive Fable Legends from Lionhead and Halo 5: Guardians from 343 Industries....

While we can debate, what with the forced installs and the growing file sizes for current-gen digital games, that the Xbox One should have offered an external storage option at launch, the fact of the matter is the feature is coming. Just this week, Microsoft confirmed the June update for their new console will include several oft-requested features, with support for external storage leading the pack. However, the announcement of an external storage option for Xbox One has brought with it a wealth questions....

Phil Spencer has revealed the boatload of information we’ve received about Xbox’s next-gen plans wasn’t supposed to be released until next week. It all started earlier this week, on Monday night to be exact. A leak claiming that the Xbox Series X will cost $499, and that the Series S was on the cusp of an official reveal and would clock in at $200 less. There have been numerous leaks like this in recent weeks and months, but this one felt different, like it had some weight to it....

Last fall, Microsoft introduced the Xbox Wireless Controller alongside the launch of the Xbox Series X|S console. The new controller features a “new hybrid D-pad, textured grip on the triggers, bumpers, and back-case.” Priced at $59.99, the controller was marked down on to $39.99 on Black Friday. Now, the controllers, which can be paired with the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, and Android, have been marked down once again to $49....

Not only was the Series X/S Xbox’s biggest ever launch in the UK, but its first week numbers have outdone a lot of other top performing consoles from the past. The next-gen is here, so maybe we should now be calling it the current-gen. PlayStation and Xbox launched their new consoles last week and early reports indicate that both have performed tremendously well in a number of ways. That’s despite Series X owners blowing vape smoke into their consoles, and all sorts of things going wrong when a PS5 is placed in rest mode....

Microsoft made a big Yakuza announcement at The Game Awards: The Yakuza Remastered Collection would be coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC. This includes remastered versions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5, along with a PC port of 2018’s Yakuza 6. This news was obviously aimed at a Western audience, so it sort of left things up in the air as to whether or not Japan would be getting the remastered collection on PC too....

The Yakuza series has gained a lot more popularity in the West in recent years, despite the series having had quite the strong following in Japan for some time now. For those who may not know much about the Yakuza series, it’s known for its iconic characters, fast and fluid combat, and juggling both a serious story with fun, wacky side content. However, the Yakuza series has largely remained the same since it began, aside from the newly released Yakuza: Like a Dragon....

Kevin Bacon deserves better. I write this knowing full well that the actor is considered a star, one whose output in the 1980s and ‘90s made him a generational touchstone for Gen-X and older Millennials. He even became a meme before that was a thing. With a slightly different career, the Footloose leading man who always enjoyed a side of ham with his bacon might’ve become a renowned scenery-chewer. Think of the latter day love you see for Nicolas Cage in Mandy or Jeff Goldblum in a Disney+ TV show simply about him “Goldblum-ing” around the world....
