Nintendo’s HQ in Japan stated this week that download cards sold by retailers will still be valid and usable in April. Despite the game being pulled from the Nintendo eShop on March 31, as long as you purchase it while supplies last, you are still good to go. Willem Dafoe has officially joined the cast of Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls. Dafoe will be joining a cast that already includes Ellen Page, as the game’s protagonist Jodie Holmes. Dafoe will play Nathan Dawkins, a government scientist that is trying to help Jodie understand her supernatural abilities. However, there appears to be something more sinister about Dawkins’ agenda, beyond just helping Jodie. In Beyond: Two Souls’ story, Jodie can see and interact with a supernatural entity, named Aiden, that has been following her nearly all her life....

The wonderfully charming retro platformer Horace is heading to Switch later this month. Publisher 505 Games announced earlier today that a port to Nintendo’s hybrid platform would be releasing on October 21, 2020, on the eShop. 505 has confirmed it will be a digital-only title, for the time being, so don’t get your hopes up for a physical release. A Switch branded trailer doesn’t reveal anything particularly new, but it does give us a glimpse of the title running on Nintendo’s platform....

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has finally released, taking Azeroth’s heroes through a rift to the afterlife itself as they battle to save lost souls from the Maw and the hands of the Jailer. The expansion’s events are set in motion by Forsaken founder and former Warchief Sylvanas Windrunner, who flees the Horde and destroys the Lich King’s Helm of Domination, opening a gateway to the land of the dead. World of Warcraft has seen faction leaders turn bad before, often to the chagrin of players who prefer the moral ambiguity of the Alliance and Horde conflict first fully explored in Warcraft 3....

Although the initial hype may have died down over the last few months, there’s no denying that World of Warcraft: Classic was a major success for Blizzard. The special servers brought back a lot of retired MMO players who aren’t interested in the current Battle for Azeroth content and also offered a nice alternative activity for players who enjoy BfA, but are mostly just waiting for Shadowlands at this point. As the Classic content moves closer and closer to the original game’s first expansion, many players have been wondering how Blizzard plans to handle the Burning Crusade era....

They did it! They actually did it! Roman Reigns is a heel! WWE essentially confirmed the change in Reigns’ character at its Payback special, following Reigns’ return at SummerSlam last weekend. Reigns returned after Bray Wyatt beat Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship, spearing both the new champ and the former champ before standing tall as SummerSlam went off the air. Fast-forward to this past Friday on SmackDown, and Adam Pearce was tasked with finding Reigns and having him sign a contract for a three-way match at Payback, where he would challenge Wyatt for the Universal Title along with Strowman in the main event....
