Questing While it may seem obvious, questing is the fastest way to generate experience and level up your character, if you go about it the right way. It’s important to gather as many quests as possible in a single area, rather than tackling them one at a time. That way, players will be actively completing multiple objectives at the same time. For Battle for Azeroth in particular, it’s recommended that players transfer to the zone opposite to what they began in as early as possible, so for players beginning in Kul’Tiras, its advisable transfer to Zandalar as soon as possible and vice versa....

The developers over at Saber Interactive aren’t new to the world of Switch ports. After previously working on the Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3, the team has turned their attention to another beast of a game — World War Z. The Yakuza series started all the way back in 2006 for western audiences and has grown ever since, with the franchise’s popularity booming in recent years. The release of the most recent installment, Yakuza: Like A Dragon, marked the first time that a Yakuza title didn’t debut as a PlayStation console exclusive, with the game also available on Xbox Series consoles at launch this time around. Alejandro G. The fallout of Ubisoft’s ongoing internal investigation into a toxic work culture has claimed yet another victim. Sexual misconduct allegations have rocked Ubisoft since last month. Multiple executives have resigned and high-ranking employees have been fired as Ubisoft continues to investigate those allegations and transform its workplace culture as outlined in an open letter from Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. The latest executive to resign is Andrée Cossette, managing director at Ubisoft Quebec with a 22-year history at the French publishing giant....

Skippable dialogues should be a norm in every video game by now. Sure, you wouldn’t want to skip through important plot content, but nobody gives a damn about what a fetch quest giver has to say. Just give me the damn quest and let me go retrieve the MacGuffin or kill those bandits. Unfortunately, some games force you to sit through these cutscenes or animations, not knowing that you have more important things to do....

Ever since the creation of the first true ban list in October 2004, there have been dozens of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards to have found their way onto the Forbidden and Limited list for one reason or another. For the most part, this list is simply used to keep overpowered cards and strategies in check and allow for a faster rotation of decks to be used, but sometimes the reason for their ban is a little crazier....

One of the biggest reveals at the recent PS5 event was easily the Demon’s Souls Remake, complete with a brand new look for the previously PS3 exclusive title. This could be a huge moment for fans of the Souls series and other FromSoftware titles, since the grandfather of Dark Souls may have more to offer players than the more widely popularized installments in the critically acclaimed trilogy. There are more than a few ways that the Demon’s Souls experience can overwhelmingly triumph over the Souls experience that players can expect from other games in the genre from FromSoftware’s own titles to Souls-likes like Nioh or The Surge....

CCP Games blew us away at E3 2013 with their brief demo for EVE-VR, a conceptual test for a multiplayer starfighter game based in the EVE Online MMO universe that ran on the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset. It was even more impressive than the next-gen consoles on display at the event. It came as no surprise then when CCP announced a full game based on it, titled EVE: Valkyrie. Knowing that space combat sims originated on PCs and are still most prevelant there (see: Star Citizen) it seemed a no brainer that EVE: Valkyrie would be a lock for PC when it releases in 2014....

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake is finally here after years of anticipation, albeit without a considerable amount of content from the original game available on release. However, with the game being revamped and expanded into multiple episodes, the first installment of the game had some big shoes to fill and a seemingly insurmountable task to conquer in the form of making a satisfying ending for Episode 1. Somehow, it would seem that Final Fantasy 7 Remake made good on both filling the shoes of the nostalgic title of its namesake, while also having a compelling and rewarding endpoint that leads into the next episode....

Since its release earlier this year, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout continues to be a popular title on the PC and PS4. Several days ago, developer Mediatonic announced that the game had reached another impressive milestone now that Fall Guys has since sold over 11 million copies on the PC alone. Although Fall Guys’ second season is still going strong, Mediatonic is slowly gearing up for the arrival of season three by releasing tidbits of information on what fans can expect soon....

On the day before the release of Mass Effect 3’s Extended Cut DLC it’s hard not to stop and think how far we’ve come. From the early days of the game’s release, when players were crying foul of BioWare’s promise to bring a satisfying conclusion to Commander Shepards’s trilogy, to now, where gamers are hopefully getting the closure they so badly desired. While some saw Mass Effect 3’s ending as lacking, there were a select few, like myself, who found it to be a perfect conclusion to a series they had loved....
