Outriders, the upcoming third-person shooter from People Can Fly, is due to be released in Q4 of 2020. The game combines RPG elements with cover-based shooting, and is playable in singleplayer or co-op. Outriders takes place on the planet Enoch, where a planned human colonization has been disrupted by a mysterious energy storm. At the beginning of the game players will customize their characters, choosing from one of four classes. Each of these classes has a very different playstyle and set of abilities....

Prepare for a cuteness overload as publisher Inin has released a new trailer for Wonder Boy: Asha In Monster World. The video features the main character’s pet Pepelogoo and how you can solve platforming puzzles with it. For example, Asha can hold on to her winged friend to get over gaps, and it can make breathe out a gust of air that can move a raft. It can even save Asha from drowning, a flaw that a lot of Sega characters seem to have (Sonic had to wear a lifevest in a Mario & Sonic Olympic Games title)....

In the month leading up to E3 2014, Microsoft made an announcement many expected them to make much earlier in the year — not just because their Xbox One was trailing the PS4 in sales, but because an overwhelming number of gamers have been requesting it. They removed the Kinect from the Xbox One box, and never looked back. It was another major move from Microsoft in less than a year, and yet again it seemed to alienate the company’s console from a certain subset of gamers....
