God of War is getting a sequel to the 2018 soft reboot, and while few details have been released about the upcoming game one thing is perfectly clear: “Ragnarok is coming.” However, the series has undergone many changes since its first outing in 2005, leaving some fans unsure what to expect from the next game. While The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD fixes a surprising number of the original game’s issues, it does little to address the game’s status as this franchise’s somewhat awkward origin story. Yes, even though the Zelda timeline is a bit of a mess, there’s no denying that Skyward Sword is the earliest adventure in the official Zelda canon. It doesn’t quite tell the story of how “Heaven and Earth were created” (the only listed event that precedes Skyward Sword on the official Zelda timeline), but it does help explain the origins of the Master Sword, the early history of Hyrule, and why Link and Zelda are seemingly destined to do this dance until the end of time....
Since the battle royale genre is the latest hot trend in gaming, it wasn’t much of a surprise to learn that Battlefield V will have a battle royale mode, as announced by DICE at E3 2018. However, there has been some confusion since that initial announcement, with some fans not sure if the mode will be available at launch or if it’s coming at a later date.
