While Starfield kicked off Xbox’s massive E3 2021 showcase with a brand-new trailer, release date (November 11, 2022), and confirmation that the sci-fi RPG will be an Xbox/PC exclusive title at launch, it’s hardly a surprise that so many people are already asking what all of this information means for The Elder Scrolls 6. It’s been three years since Bethesda shocked the world by revealing the first Elder Scrolls 6 trailer at E3 2018, and we haven’t exactly learned much about the game since then....

Capcom Vancouver studio head Joe Nickolls reveals that Dead Rising 4 will not use the divisive time limit mechanic that has been used in previous games in the series. In many ways, Dead Rising 4 should be familiar to fans of the franchise. This past weekend Wonder Woman 1984 got its international release with the movie screening all over the world in places like France, Mexico, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Brazil Spain and Nigeria, just to name a few. Also included in that list is the United Kingdom, but with tightening security protocols and lockdowns, Western Europe was never really going to be the place where Diana Prince made it. Instead, Warner’s strategy seemed to turn its focus at box offices in densely populated countries in Africa, Central and South America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, which had all proved to be solid markets for Wonder Woman back in 2017....

World of Warcraft’s pre-patch level squish may still not have an official release date, but a ton of new details were just revealed about the upcoming Shadowlands pre-expansion content changes. In addition to some other new intel, players can now get a better understanding of exactly how the level squish will impact each of their characters when it arrives in the coming weeks. The next WoW expansion features two pre-patches and the first one will bring a massive level squish that reduces the game’s max level to 50 (it will jump up to 60 when Shadowlands launches next month)....

Shadowlands, the next major expansion for Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft, released its first pre-patch today. However, the full release of Shadowlands was delayed to later in 2020 on October 1 so the developers could polish and build upon player feedback. In the meantime, fans of the popular MMO can get their hands on a World of Warcraft gaming chair from Secretlab. There are two designs available now based on the Alliance and the Horde, with both the regal gold-and-blue pattern and the sinister red-and-black pattern available for Secretlab’s 2020 Omega and Titan series chairs....

Epic Games has updated its list of free games and added an unannounced title as well. Both Figment and Tormentor x Punisher are titles previously announced as free games, but Epic Games has just added World War Z to the list as well. Additionally, a new update to the game adds limited cross-play for Xbox One and PC for PVE modes. PC players will get the game free and will have a chance to play with Xbox One players now and PlayStation players in the near future....

The Destiny community is full of players who have put a huge amount of time into the game, from the title’s initial launch and through every expansion. As it turns out, Xbox head Phil Spencer counts himself as a big Destiny fan too, and has stated that he has played “700 hours” of the game. The comment was made in conversation with Jeff Gerstmann during the Giant Bomb E3 2017 live show, where the topic of the shifting trends of the industry came up....

It takes a special video game to stay relevant for a matter of decades — this year Nintendo is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., but that series is very much an exception rather than the rule. However, Xbox head Phil Spencer has stated that he believes Halo can enjoy just as much success. Speaking to GameSpot, Spencer suggested that Halo is “a franchise and an IP I expect to be around 20 years from now”....

Microsoft VP at Xbox Mike Ybarra got caught up in the ongoing online argument over Destiny 2’s frame-rate caps, clarifying his company’s policy regarding the upcoming Xbox Scorpio console. Ybarra posted on Twitter that Microsoft has no requirements regarding Xbox One and Xbox Scorpio frame-rate parity, which led some to believe that the VP was digging at the news that Destiny 2 would be capped at 30fps on both PlayStation 4 and the more powerful PlayStation 4 Pro....

Yakuza: Like A Dragon follows Kasuga Ichiban, an ex-con who is betrayed by his former criminal friends and left for dead on the streets. The other titles in the Yakuza series are action games in the vein of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, while Like A Dragon is a turn-based RPG that focuses on using items on the battlefield to your advantage....

Yakuza has always been a series known for its wacky jokes and weird easter eggs, with each of its 8 mainline entries loaded with hilarious moments sure to catch even the most seasoned veteran of the franchise off guard. However, it seems Yakuza: Like a Dragon is perhaps one of its wackiest to date, with the recent release featuring everything from intense go-karting races around the city to an army of crayfish falling from the sky to aid Ichiban mid-battle....

The proper use of music at the right time can make the action soar and it’s genuinely exciting that more experimental and passionate creators are embracing the sonic possibilities that television allows. Flying Lotus is an innovative musician with a flair for the extraordinary that cut his teeth on many of the surreal animated series that fill Adult Swim’s programming block....
