What S Next For Richard Stanley S Lovecraft Trilogy After Color Out Of Space

Richard Stanley signaled a strong return to his enterprising blend of horror and sci-fi feature films with 2019’s Color Out of Space. Adapted from H.P. Lovecraft’s 1927 short story “The Colour Out of Space,” Stanley’s first film in almost 25 years is a phantasmagorical nightmare that updates its source material without compromising the cosmic horror themes that make it so terrifying. Color Out of Space is the first installment in a cinematic trilogy planned by Stanley and production company SpectreVision that pays tribute to Lovecraft’s literary legacy....

Ubisoft and Massive have officially announced they’re working on a brand-new open-world Star Wars game. Not much is known about the game thus far, and fans are speculating as to just what exactly this Star Wars game is going to be. Ubisoft has a tendency to follow a formula with a lot of its games, with some notable exceptions, like Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Immortals: Fenyx Rising. If Ubisoft does end up borrowing some ideas for this new Star Wars game, one property that has some distinct ideas it should take a look at is Far Cry....

When Rock And Soul Royalty Came Together For Angela Davis

1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything highlights the almost psychic rapport between radicals and radical thinking musicians. One activist brought together the Queen of Soul and the top royalty of British Rock. The documentary points out how Aretha Franklin offered to post bail for Angela Davis, but the former philosophy professor also drew in support from The Rolling Stones, former Beatle John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and by extension, Bob Dylan....

Why Does Ser Criston Cole Lash Out At Rhaenyra S Wedding In House Of The Dragon

This article contains spoilers for House of the Dragon episode 5. According to Illyrio Mopatis, a Dothraki wedding without at least three deaths is considered a dull affair. If that’s the case then perhaps Westeros and Essos in George R.R. Martin’s sprawling Word of Ice and Fire are not so different after all. As viewers have seen through eight seasons of Game of Thrones and five episodes of House of the Dragon, it’s rare for a Westerosi wedding to come and go without some bloodshed....

Why Get Hype For The 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank Movie

Erik Feig’s relatively new media company Picturestart recently won the film rights to the indie heist comic 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank. The project currently has Matthew Robinson (Dora and the Lost City of Gold, the forthcoming Live Die Repeat and Repeat) attached as a screenwriter. This is a project to keep an eye on, because it’s a unique confluence of potential breakouts. It’s a new production company adapting a little-known comic from a relatively young indie publisher, and unusually for a recent comics adaptation, it’s for a film rather than a television series....

Why Viggo Mortensen Wasn T Sure About Starring In Green Book

“I had a lot of misgivings about it,” says Viggo Mortensen, seated in a room at the London Hotel in Los Angeles where he is spending the day talking about his new movie Green Book. The “it” in question is the role of Frank Anthony “Tony Lip” Vallelonga, an Italian-American bouncer and raconteur (and later, actor) who was hired as a driver for famed African-American pianist Don Shirley (played in the film by Mahershala Ali) when the latter toured the Jim Crow South in 1962....

Will Matrix 4 Be The Launch Of A New Trilogy

The turn of the century was gripped by “Matrixmania.” The Matrix franchise was a massive phenomenon, spawning animations, MMO’s, and comic books. The fashion of The Matrix dominated Halloween costumes for years, and some real streetwear. Morpheus’ pince-nez sunglasses have become an iconic item. They are now exclusively known, and sold, as the “Morpheus Sunglasses....

World Of Warcraft Classic The 5 Longest Quest Chains

World of Warcraft is no stranger to extending the time players spend in-game through artificial means, to say the least. One of the ways Blizzard accomplished this in World of Warcraft Classic (or rather, in the Vanilla WoW experience) was through incredibly long quest chains that dragged players all across the world. These quests often took hours, if not days, to complete – and sometimes the reward just wasn’t worth it....

World Of Warcraft Shadowlands Removes Ssd Requirement

World of Warcraft has been around for more than 15 years at this point and many MMO fans have been playing the title since that first year. Although the game has never received a true numbered sequel, there have been many expansions over the years that slowly but surely kicked the tires, updated some framework, and helped keep the game running like a modern PC game. That said, obviously the system specs need to be updated from time to time, but for the most part WoW has not had very difficult specs to meet for the average PC gamer....
