Wolfenstein is a venerated video game series full of inventive weaponry. In this alternate history, the Nazis became very technologically advanced and won the Second World War. The divergence from real-world technology allows developer MachineGames to give the player all sorts of different weapons to play around with. And with the game coming to Xbox Game Pass, now is the perfect time to try them all out. MachineGames took on Wolfenstein’s legacy with 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order, filling it to the brim with a narrative depth that the series had never had....

Prior to its official reveal during Bethesda’s E3 2017 press conference, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus was shown as having several strange and unsettling television shows within its alternate history of a Nazi-occupied America in the 1960s era. Now, the aforementioned publisher and the developer MachineGames have teamed up to put out yet another bizarre trailer for the forthcoming first-person shooter featuring a fake live-action TV program called Blitzmensch. As seen below in the latest trailer for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, fans can get a look at Blitzmensch and its artistic styles taking cues from Adam West’s Batman, with the titular character and his partner Fräulein Fox fighting against what the Nazis consider to be threats – that is, “capitalism, communism, and degenerates....

Throughout their travels in Bastion, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands players may come across the Golden Steward’s Chest. At first glance, it’s locked with seemingly no way to open it, but players can get the key by completing a quest for Elios, the NPC right beside it. Compared to other treasures like the Mistveil Tangle Enchanted Chest, this one’s fairly time consuming to get. WWE’s series of contracted professional wrestler releases and furloughs are unfortunately not over, it seems. Another wrestler has now been confirmed to have been released. That wrestler being Cain Velasquez, an ex-MMA fighter and a former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion. Velasquez joins a list of over 20 other WWE wrestlers to have been released. Velasquez’s wrestling debut was in March 2019 with the Mexican promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. He wore a luchador mask for the fight and both surprised and impressed the pro wrestling scene....

Microsoft has announced that its joint E3 showcase showing off the latest games from both Xbox and Bethesda will be airing on June 13. The news was announced on Xbox’s official Twitter account, promising plenty of games, world premieres, and more games coming to Xbox Game Pass. Those wanting to watch the showcase will be able to do so on both Twitch and YouTube as well as Facebook and Twitter. The showcase will take place on June 13, and will air at 10 am PT/1 pm ET/6 pm BST....

In an interview with Yahoo Finance, Xbox head Phil Spencer states that Microsoft intends to continue producing console hardware in the future. “In terms of future hardware, absolutely I think we’re going to see more console hardware down the road,” Spencer says. “Just like in video, just like in music, it’s not that streaming has cut off device innovation. I think we’ll continue to see that, and that’s absolutely what we’re planning for....

As many of you know, there have been several stories about hacked Xbox Live accounts lately, and Microsoft has repeatedly stated that there has not been a breach in security. Yesterday, Alex Garden, General Manager of Xbox Live, released a statement regarding the issue, and he explains the problem from a a mostly sympathetic view point. Xbox continues to expand its Game Pass mobile streaming catalog, with six new games seeing the addition of touch controls. Titles in the update include Overcooked 2, Killer Queen Black, and Banjo-Kazooie. If you don’t have a Bluetooth gamepad – or don’t want to lug it around with you – you’ll be glad to know that 60 titles in the Xbox Game Pass catalog now support touch controls on mobile. Microsoft has been steadily adding new games to the subscription service, but it’s great to see the company remembering its xCloud ambitions....

This Young Justice: Outsiders review contains spoilers. Young Justice Season 13 Episode 19 I’m conflicted about “Elder Wisdom.” On the one hand, it’s a perfectly fine episode of Young Justice on its own and as a part of the overall narrative of the third season. It’s got good action and a fun running gag (Impulse yelling “I’M FINE” from off camera). It gives a surprising amount of character development to people who feel like peripheral characters like Wonder Girl, El Dorado or Jay Garrick....

Final Fantasy 7 Remake seems to be making some big changes to the original game’s story. The involvement of the Whispers and Aeris’ strange character arc all hint towards things not being quite as they seem. So far, the remake has only covered the first five or so hours of the original game, restricting players to the city of Midgard rather than Final Fantasy 7’s vast open world, but the next installment will presumably open things up....
